Do Jinki is a South Korean novelist who was awarded the New Mystery Writers’ Prize by the Korean Mystery Writers’ Association in 2010 with the work “The Choice” (선택). Do also works as a lawyer, and takes inspiration from his work to depict the cases and themes in his stories. Do won the Korean Mystery Literature Grand Prize in 2014 with his short story “The Star of Judah” (유다의 별).

Depuis 20 ans il est juge au tribunal du district nord de Séoul. Et à quarante ans, il est devenu écrivain à succès de romans policiers. En 2010 son premier polar reçoit le Mystery Rookie Award de la Korean Mystery Artists Association. En 2014, il obtient le Korean Mystery Literary Award pour son long-métrage, The Star of Judas.

도진기는 한국의 소설가다. 2010년 <선택>으로 한국추리작가협회 미스터리 신인상을 수상하며 작품활동을 시작했다. 작가는 변호사로 일하면서 동시에 추리소설을 발표해오고 있는데, 주로 작가가 일하면서 경험한 사건들을 토대로 다양한 사건과 주제를 소설로 풀어내고 있다. 단편<유다의 별>로 2014년 한국추리문학 대상을 수상했다.
