《喜马拉雅诗篇》是诗人游历喜马拉雅山区之后写成的纪行诗。“不适合搭帐篷的时候/就不停地行走/只顾埋头行走/浑然不觉天空有没有星星/有没有什么事”。在平均海拔四五千米的高原，诗人高 银在残酷、恶劣的环境中，写就了这一部诗集，正如他诗中所说，“绝望乃是绝望之蜜”，正是极端恶劣、绝望的环境，催生了这样一朵绝望之花。
