The women who work at Donga Silk Mill go on strike against their boss who increases their work hours and reduces their daily wages. The mill dormitory where the female workers live in, stop providing food for the workers, pressuring them to end the strike, but the female workers unite and continue the strike. Finally, unable to do anything against the solidarity of the skilled workers, the company accepts the women's demands, and the women return to work with a smile.
