2006년에 출간된 문태준 시인의 세 번째 시집이다. 표제시인 <가재미>를 포함하여 68편의 시가 수록되어 있다. 시인은 특유의 오래된 시어와 고요한 서정시적 정취로 주목받아 왔다. 이번 시집에서는 작은 존재와의 사소한 교감을 주제로 하여 삶과 죽음의 경계에 선 미약한 존재들의 존재론을 이야기한다.

Published in 2006, this is the third collection of poems by Moon Taejun. It contains 68 poems, including the title poem “Flatfish.” Noted for his distinctive old poetical language and serene lyrical style, the poet explores in this collection the ontological question of what it means to be in communion with fragile beings that lie at the borderline between life and death.
