1991년에 출간된 정진규 시인의 시선집이다. 정진규는 초기에 화려하고 섬세한 언어적 수사와 자아의식에 대한 탐닉을 시적으로 형상화했으나, 1960년대 중반부터 개인의식에서 집단의식으로 넘어가는 시세계를 이룩했다. 시련을 견디는 연습을 통해 정신적 각성과 깨달음을 시로 표현하고 있다는 평가를 받는다.

Dance of the Words, a collection of poems by Chyung JinKyu, was published in 1991. 
In the early days of his career, Chyung JinKyu attempted to give poetic form to delicate and flowery linguistic figures of speech and indulgences in self-consciousness, but from the mid-1960s he achieved a transition from a poetics of individual consciousness to one of collective consciousness. He is considered a poet expressive of spiritual awakening and enlightenment, attained by enduring hardship.
