<필원잡기>는 서거정이 1486년에 엮은 일화집(逸話集)이다. 옛부터 전하는 이야기 중에서 역사책에 수록할 수 없는 것들을 뽑아 엮은 책이다. 내용이 정확하지는 않다. <역옹패설>은 고려 말인 1342년 문인인 이제현이 수필과 시화를 엮은 책이다.

An Author’s Trivia by Seo Geo-jeong is a collection of anecdotes from 1486, and it includes folktales excluded from history books. Scribblings of an Old Man Oak by Yi Che-hyeon, whose penname was “Oak,” was published in 1342.
