조선시대 작가미상의 고전소설이다. 18권 18책으로 구성되어 있으며 <이씨세대록(李氏世代錄)>, <이씨후대인봉쌍계록(李氏後代麟鳳雙界錄)>으로 이어지는 연작소설 중 첫 번째 작품이다. 작품은 승상 이씨 가문을 중심으로 능력있고 양심적인 양반계층들을 등장시켜 그렇지 못한 현실을 우회적으로 비판하고 있다.

This is a classical story from the Joseon dynasty, and its writer is unknown. Told in 18 books and 18 volumes, the story is the first part of the series called The Chronicle of Sir Yi and The Chronicle of Sir Yi and His Scion of Twin Phoenix. The story uses the main character Yi and his family, who are noble and honorable, in order to criticize corruption among aristocrats at the time.
