Plot

Cream and Kay are in love with each other, while Ju-hwan loves Cream and Jenna loves Kay. Ju-hwan is unable to reveal his love for Cream, and all Jenna can do for her beloved Kay is to stay by Kay’s side as he dies.

This is a novel by Won Taeyeon, published in 2009. This is the poet’s first novel, and it was adapted into a film in the same year. The author conveys different definitions of love through the perspectives of four protagonists, such as the innocence of love, unfulfilled love, sad love, and fateful love.

2009년에 출간된 원태연의 장편소설이다. 시인의 첫 소설로 같은 해에 영화로 만들어졌다. 작가는 사랑의 순수함 그리고 사랑하지만 이루어질 수 없는 슬픈 사랑과 운명적인 사랑 등등을 네 명의 남녀 주인공들의 시각을 통해 저마다 다른 사랑의 정의를 전해주고 있다.
