1998년에 출간된 허규의 희곡집이다. 표제작을 비롯하여 <바다와 아침 등불>, <애오라지>, <용마골 장사>등 모두 6편의 희곡이 수록되어 있다. <물도리동>은 하회탈 제작에 얽힌 허도령 전설을 극화한 것으로 1977년 제1회 대한민국연극제에서 대통령상을 수상했다. 그는 정치적으로 암울했던 시기에 그의 작품에 마당극의 요소를 적극적으로 활용했다는 평가를 받는다.

Published in 1998, this collection by Heo Gyu introduces six of his plays including The Sea and the Morning Torch, Aeoraji, and The Strongman from Yongmagol.  The title play Muldoridong retells the legend of a young man called Heo and the making of traditional Hahoetal masks, and the playwright received the President’s Award at the first Korean Performing Arts Festival in 1977. He is also known for employing Madanggeuk, a form of resistance theater during the time of political oppression in the 1970s and 1980s.
