Plot

Han Seo-jin, who was adopted and raised by a French couple, meets a man named Kang Han-seok, who is studying in Paris. He doesn’t ask about her age, status, or past, and Seo-jin is drawn to him, eventually falling in love with him. However, by chance, Han Seo-jin finds out that Kang Han-seok is her biological brother.

This is a novel by Jang-Soon Sohn, published in 1999. It features the tabooed theme of incest and expresses the difficulties of romantic love between a man and a woman. It also addresses the division of the two Koreas, through which conflicts occur and reconciliation is achieved.
