1995년에 출간된 오세영 시인의 세 번째 시집이다. 총 84편의 시가 기승전결의 구조를 갖고 수록되어 있다. 사랑의 고통과 허무를 초월하여 존재의 극복을 노래한다. 불교적 세계관, 주역사상, 한의 정서를 통해 존재의 무를 발견하고, 그것을 극복하려는 노력이야말로 인생의 참된 의미라는 것을 시로 형상화하고 있다.

Published in 1995, this third collection by Oh Sae-young introduces 84 of his poems, which are presented in the order of a narrative. The poet hopes to recover the meaning of one’s existence through transcending the pain and meaninglessness of love. With Buddhist doctrine, the ideas of the Book of Changes (The I Ching), and the sentiment of han, the poet argues that the enlightened sense of existence is what we must strive for.
