Plot

When her interpreter father dies, Tanya heads to Russia. After trying her hand in various businesses, she returns home to Joseon once again. In Joseon, she becomes the first Korean barista in charge of providing coffee to King Gojong. From then, she observes the conspiracies and trickeries of politicians in the Russian legation from up close.
