1957년 7월 <문학예술>에 발표된 김춘수 시인의 시이다. 이 시는 '꽃'을 통하여 존재의 본질을 탐색하고자 하는 관념시다. 화자는 꽃의 의미를 파악하고자 하지만 존재의 의미를 파악하는 것은 어려운 일이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 본질을 추구하려는 정신과 의지의 중요성을 이야기한다.

This poem by Kim Chunsu was published in the literary magazine Literature and Art in July 1957, and in this conceptual poem, the poet searches for the essence of existence through flowers. He questions the meaning of flowers but realizes how difficult this question is. Despite the difficulty, he stresses the importance of the desire and the will to seek answers to this question.
