시인 김남주의 시집으로 출간시기는 알려져 있지 않고 '기독생활동지회'에서 간행한 것으로 알려져 있다. 작가의 첫 시집이 출간된 1984년과 일본에서 <농부의 밤>이라는 동명의 시집이 출간된 것이 1987년 4월이며, 두 번째시집이 출간된 1987년11월 사이에 출간된 것으로 짐작할 수 있다.

The first publication date for this collection of Kim Nam-ju’s poems is unknown except for the fact that it was published in The Fellowship of Christian Life. The collection was finally published in book form in 1984, and its Japanese translation was published in April 1987. The poet’s second collection of poems was published in November 1987.
