Plot
Im Gyuju is the chief editor at a publishing company. With a consumptive wife, he has had affairs with several women: Song Gyeongwon, Kang Seonok, and Jang Seonghye. He gets arrested when his novel, which has been serialized in a newspaper, is accused of having an inappropriate ideological view, but he is released with help from Song Gyeongwon and the publishing company owner, Baek Gyusik. Baek Gyusik decides to close down the company and start a farm, and Im Gyuju decides to join him.
