Shin Hankyun is a South Korean pottery artisan and novelist. Shin carries on traditional Joseon-era bowl-making techniques and displays his works at domestic and international galleries. In order to recreate the lives of Joseon-era pottery artisans who mastered Joseon white porcelain, which contributed to Japan’s economic rise, Shin wrote the epic historical novel Sinui geureut (신의 그릇 The Bowl of God) (2008). The novel tells the story of a Japanese pottery artisan who was dragged to Japan during the Imjin War. It was translated into Japanese under the title Kami no utsuwa and became a bestseller.

신한균은 한국의 사기장인이자 소설가다. 전통 조선 사발 장인으로서 활동하며 국내외 유명 화랑에서 초대받아 작품전을 열고 있다. 신한균은 백자를 완성해 일본의 경제 대국화에 결정적으로 기여한 조선 사기장들의 삶을 복원하기 위해 장편 역사 소설 《신의 그릇》(2008)을 창작했다. 임진왜란 시기 일본으로 끌려간 조선 사기장의 삶을 다룬 이 작품은 2010년 《카미노 우쯔와》라는 제목으로 일본에서도 베스트셀러가 되기도 했다.

申翰均，韩国瓷器制作家、小说家。作为传统朝鲜瓷碗的制作家，他还受国内外知名画廊的邀请，举办瓷器作品展。为再现朝鲜瓷器工匠通过白瓷为日本经济大国化做出决定贡献的人生，他创作了长篇历史小说《神的器皿》（《신의 그릇》，2008）。该作品讲述了壬辰倭乱时期被迫前往日本的朝鲜瓷器工匠的故事。2010年这部作品被译成日语《神之器》出版后，一举登上日本的畅销书排行榜。
