Caring for others in "Hell Joseon"from The Hole to Hello Baby -
In this talk centered on depictions of mothers and care work in Korean literature,Sora will share excerpts from her translations of Pyun Hye-young's The Hole (2016) andKim Eui-Kyung's forth coming Hello Baby (2026) and discuss the perils of becoming a professional translator and working mother.

이번 강연에서는 김소라 번역가가 번역한 편혜영의 『홀』(2016)과 김의경 작가의 곧 출간될 『헬로 베이비』(2026) 중 일부를 소개하며, 한국 문학 속 ‘엄마’와 ‘돌봄’에 대한 이야기를 나눕니다.
또한, 번역가이자 워킹맘으로 살아가는 삶에 대해 진솔한 경험담도 들려줄 예정입니다.
