Plot

When Yuri comes home from school, she goes straight to the attic, where she spends time playing computer games. One day, she goes on a trip by herself, and stays overnight in a cottage. Unbeknownst to her, the cottage is cursed, and as a result, she is transformed into a mosquito. To be freed from the curse and become a human being again, Yuri must live as a mosquito.

2013년 출간된 정수윤의 그림동화다. 2011년 애니메이션 시나리오 공모전 우수상 수상작이다. 작품은 주인공이 우연히 혼자 떠난 여행지의 숙소에서 저주에 걸려 경험한 일들을 흥미롭게 그리고있다. 작가는 힘이 없고 작은 생명체에 대한 인간의 태도를 질문하고 있다.

This children’s picture book by Su-youn Jung was published in 2013, and won the Animation Screenplay Contest Excellence Award in 2011. It tells the story of a character who travels alone and finds herself under a curse placed on her by her accommodation. In the book, the author questions people’s attitudes towards small and powerless creatures, like the mosquito.
