Plot

Seonhye is terminally ill, but she is in love with Minsu. She realizes she shouldn’t love him when Minsu wants to share her pain and suffering. She refuses Minsu, to his agony and disappointment.

2006년에 출간된 김하인의 장편소설이다. 작품은 불치병을 앓고 있는 주인공의 사랑을 다루고 있다.  장편<국화꽃 향기>로 대중적인기를 얻는 작가의 장편으로 이 작품 역시 섬세한 필치로 비극적이고 운명적인 사랑을 그리고 있다.

Published in 2006, this novel by Kim Hain tells the love story of a main character dying from a terminal disease. As in her previous work The Scent of Chrysanthemums, which was hugely popular, Kim writes a tragic love story in language that is heartfelt and tender.
