This anthology features the major works of Kim Myeongsun, Na Hye-seok, and Kim Ilyeop, recognized as first-generation female writers and sinyeoseong (new women) during the dawn of modern Korean literature. This includes Kim Myeongsun’s “Uisimui sonyeo” (의심의 소녀 Suspicious Girl), which comprises three short stories that reflect intense feminist reflections.
