Kim Hyeongsoo (1959-) is a South Korean poet and novelist. He began his literary career with the publication of “Minjungsi 2” (민중시2 The People’s Poem 2) in 1985 and a novel through Munhakdongne in 1996. Kim is also a writer and a critic who has led the discourse on popular literature (minjung literature) in the 1980s. 김형수(1959~)는 한국의 시인이며 소설가다. 1985년 <민중시2>로, 1996년 <문학동네>에 소설을 발표하며 작품활동을 시작했다. 작가는 1980년대 민중문학의 담론을 주도해온 작가이자 평론가이기도 하다. 작가는 인간의 일상을 파괴하는 폭력과 억압, 차별 등에 관해 허무주의를 배제하고 지치지 않는 성실함과 따뜻한 시각으로 배제된 것들을 소설과 시에 담아내는 작업을 하고 있다.
