Des amis est un roman de l’écrivain d’origine ouvrière Baek Nam-Ryong. En Corée, il a rencontré un vaste succès au Nord, en raison sans doute de sa tonalité critique, ainsi qu’au Sud, tant il appartient à une démarche littéraire inédite. C’est le premier roman nord-coréen traduit en français. Baek propose une vision en prisme de la société nord-coréenne à travers le divorce d’un couple formé par une cantatrice et un ouvrier, qui provoque réflexions et interrogations chez tous ceux qu’il concerne.
