金正喜(1786~1856)は名門両班出身の実学者で、「秋史体」という独特の書体を創作した朝鮮書芸の巨人。中国に赴き、燕京の書法の実事求是を学び、清新な書を韓国の風土にもたらした創造力と長い不遇生活(政争のため、55歳から約9年間を済州島の地で流配生活)が生んだ高雅な精神。この二つが一つになって彼の書が生まれた。
