This anthology compiles translations of eight short stories published between 1959 and 1982. It comprises two novels set against the backdrop of the Korean War and six others depicting the social landscape of 1970s Korea.

1959년에서 1982년 사이에 발표된 8편의 소설을 묶어 번역한 작품집이다. 한국전쟁을 배경으로 하는 두 작품과 70년대 사회상을 보여주는 여섯 작품으로 구성되어 있다.
