This collection contains translations of seven works by Cho Se-hee from his short story collection Nanjangiga ssoaolin jageun gong (난장이가 쏘아올린 작은 공 The Dwarf), with the exception of “Kallal” (칼날 Knifeblade), “Ujuyeohaeng” (우주여행 Space Travel), “Yukgyo wieseo” (육교 위에서 On the Footbridge), “Gwedo hoejeon” (궤도 회전 Orbital Rotation), and “Gigyedosi” (기계도시 City of Machines). According to the translator’s postscript, only the works that directly address the “dwarf” and his family were selected and translated.
