On ne s’aventurera pas ici dans une périlleuse analyse socio-psychologique visant à expliquer les raisons pour lesquelles un public de plus en plus large s’avère fasciné par le phénomène morbide des tueurs en série. Le fait est indéniable et se traduit d’ailleurs par un genre littéraire (et cinématographique) presque à part entière. On pense au retentissant succès du « Silence des agneaux », de Thomas Harris, mais il ne fut ni le seul, ni le premier.

Siempre conviene, en el complicado mundo de la novela negra, buscar nuevas tendencias que llamen la atención al lector. Si hace unos cuántos años se nos bombardeó con el boom de la novela negra nórdica, cuyos ecos llegan hasta el día de hoy, ahora hay que ampliar miras y parece ser que la elegida es Corea del Sur. Si hace un año nos llegaba “El buen hijo” de You-Jeong Jeong, ahora Plaza & Janés publica “Hija única” de Mi-Ae Seo el próximo 11 de junio.
