ソウル大学化学科卒業後、同大学院社会学科で博士課程修了

 

서울대 사회학과 대학원에서 사회학 박사를 받았고, 오랫동안 연구공동체 수유너머에서 생활했다. 지금은 고려대 민족문화연구원 연구교수로 재직하고 있으며, 노들장애학궁리소 회원이기도 하다. 최근 저서로는 『다이너마이트 니체』, 『“살아가겠다”』, 『언더그라운드 니체』, 『철학자와 하녀』 등이 있다.
