This book introduces the 32 poems from Kim Namjo’s 14th poetry collection Baramserye (바람세례 Baptism of Wind, 1988) and the nine poems in her 15th poetry collection Pyeonganeul wihayeo (평안을 위하여 For peace of mind, 1995). It also features a postscript by the translator Kang Jeongjung and explanatory notes by Lee Geon-cheong titled “Kimnamjoui si” (김남조의 시 Kim Namjo’s poetry).

이 책은 김남조의 열네 번째 시집 『바람세례』(1988)에 수록된 32편과 열다섯 번째 시집 『평안을 위하여』(1995)에 수록된 9편을 소개하고 있는 선집이다. 역자 강정중의 후기와 함께 이건청의 해설 「김남조의 시」도 수록되어 있다.
